Considering the complexity of a project such as Blender, I have found it to be remarkably stable. Although I have suffered some crashes, I have not found easily repeatable ones. Blender does not easily corrupt its files and with the autosave on it's unlikely one will lose much work in the occasional crash. That is a fantastic achievement.

The special feature of mac games is that in this the outdoor games that are available are designed as the system games in the form of either 2D or 3D graphics which are more realistic and helps the players enjoy the game of which mac tennis is one among them.

I had no idea most GE are presently D3D, I thought it was still a combo of D3D/OpenGL! Should've researched some more...

But thanks for that link - its very assuring, even if things don't work out for the mac itself. Consoles, phones and the web will probably follow Valve's pricing.
Ironically, the author uses the Snow Leopard upgrade as another pricing comparison :)

I have a feeling DirectX plays a big role in this. A while ago, OpenGL still played a crucial role as the only viable graphics API on the Mac, but now, every major game engine had gone completely D3D except for id Tech 5.

this post reminded me of the Jeff Atwood's recent talk on software pricing. and guess what? mobile and sub $10 game is the future.

In my mercenary hit-loving way, that's why I include the link when I comment anywhere. ;)

I think that if all it has is //'s and ..'s, then it just starts in the directory of the .blend and goes from there. I could be wrong, though. :/

Yes I reloaded the audio file relatively to get the correct path. The correct
path was //../audio/foley - so your right, it does adhere to the *nix convention of ".." as a parent directory, as OS X should. But it can't look for any directory if its nothing but slashes and parent dirs!

Nice website, do you mind if I link to you?

That looks like an okay directory, but one just not pointing to the right place. If you've used Linux before, ".." simply means to look back one directory. I'm guessing it thinks your audio file is simply higher up in the directory tree.

Reloading it with the relative button toggled on should fix everything, but it does look rather strange when you see it like that. :)
